Why call a handyman for TV mounting
Dubai apartment walls are concrete and need a hammer drill. A 55–75 inch TV weighs 15–30 kg — incorrect fixing is dangerous. Cable management is also often needed for a clean finish.
Choosing the right bracket
Fixed bracket — cheapest, TV sits flush against the wall. Tilt bracket — adjustable downward angle up to 15°. Full-motion bracket — swings up to 90°, ideal for corner installations. A fixed or tilt bracket suits most apartments.
Correct mounting height
Screen centre should be at seated eye level — approximately 100–110 cm from the floor. For a bedroom where you watch lying down — slightly higher at 120–130 cm. Too high causes neck strain.
